Train Your Brain To Achieve Your Fitness Goals

When going through an article on titled, 8 Lessons from “The Biggest Loser”: Advice to Take Away from the Show I read something that really made me think.

#4. You have to train your brain.

At first I thought this was going to go on and say you have to first train your brain to know what fitness and living a healthy lifestyle is all about, well that is not the case.

It states how Bob and Jillian, the fitness trainers, not only reshape the contestant’s bodies, but mentaly too. They all began to believe in themselves.

If you’ve ever watched the show you’ll see even the contestants that do not make it to the end, that get eliminated along the way still say the same thing: “What they had accomplished on the campus had previously been nothing more than a dream.”

When you are out of shape and/or overweight, your first step towards a healthier lifestyle is believing in yourself. Making that fitness equipment purchase is a great step forward toward that weight loss goal, yet if you do not believe in yourself you’ll never use it and receive all the benefits that treadmill, elliptical trainer, or exercise bike can give you both inside and out!
